I'm relieved! Received my first review from a book blogger & it doesn't suck!

I like watching old American Idol failures on Youtube. They're fascinating in that not only do singers truly suck, they're NOT AWARE that they suck. And all the while, you have Simon Cowell explaining (brusquely, of course) why they suck, and people don't believe him. I think as all artists, it's sometimes easier to kid yourself that you're good when you really suck. So I was sweating bullets when I sent out my novel, The Jazz Cage, to various book bloggers. And I received my first review--ooohhhh, what a relief to find it quite good (4 out of 5 stars).

Hopefully, the blogger wasn't only being polite, and I hope my upcoming other reviews would be decent! I don't want to be delusional, and it's very easy to be when you've been working alone on your writing.
