Table of Contents Control for Mobi files

Has anyone else tried to do this? I spend a lot of time in Word making a linked Table Of Contents and then convert with Calibre. Well, I want Calibre to make the active TOC content for Kindle readers so that when they hit the <Table of Contents> menu item on their Kindle it works, but I don't want that TOC to actually show up in the book itself. Is there a way to hide it? |

Ok. Figured that one out. convert .htm file to epub first. tweak the .epub and modify the content.opf file.
