0.8.60 has a new feature "Remove the dependency on the zip command line tool when developing plugins"

What's that mean exactly?

It just means that you dont need to use the zip command line tool for the "make changes - build plugin - test" development cycle anymore. calibre-customize has a new -b flag that will automatically zip up the contents of your plugin directory and add the plugin to calibre.
