I've looked at some of the books from this (publisher? Cooperative?) before (Free Partay), and it certainly looks like they've got the most thorough case of review spamming I've seen on a multi-author group. It looks like most of the mysteries that have been around for a while have lots of 5 star reviews, and nearly matching #'s of one-star reviews, with a number of reviewers saying they would have given 0 stars if Amazon's rating system permitted.
They're free, but I've decided they're not worth my time with plenty of more promising ebooks waiting for me....
Of course, I could be wrong & miss a real treasure.
They also do Romance novels, and it seems like at least some of the romance novels hold up pretty well with what appears to be legitimate reviews.
