Lag time in releases to non-Amazon and B&N?
I noticed recently that several titles that were recently released by big publishers, that they are not available through BoB when in the past they would be available on release date through BoB.

Anyone else notice this going on?

There are several similar things going on. Guy Kawasaki recommended a paper book called "How to Publish Your Own eBook" on Google+. Amazon was the only store selling it in eBook form (not a bad book by the way). It was published in the UK and Amazon now has a presence in Britain so I wondered whether that might affect it but I've also noticed that B&N often lists new eBooks at the hardback price for a day or two after they're released, or even with no price listed at all--just listing the book and no way to buy it. I wonder if the problem isn't the number of staff they have assigned to maintain their listings. Amazon is unusually alert with sales in their general listings. Frankly, their competitors don't seem to be able to keep up to Internet speed.

What's BoB?

In my experience though, Amazon has the fastest, most efficient method of putting up an eBook online (maximum 48 hours upon submission, in addition to an automated form). That might account for it.
