Help with frozen 350

I had my PRS-350 plugged in to the computer for charging the battery over night. Not sure if this is the cause of the problem, but this morning my husband simply took it out without properly ejecting it first, and now I have a lovely frozen screen that says “loading”.
I’ve tried to use the power switch (both quickly and holding it).
I’ve tried plugging it back into the computer.
I’ve tried the reset button and then the power switch again.
NOTHING happens… any ideas or helpful hints will be greatly appreciated!! I don't think I can do a hard reset since the device is frozen, right?

I bought the device for Christmas, so it's barely 7 months old. The battery etc. should be good.

I had this same stuck "loading" screen the other day. It is fixed with the reset button. I had to make sure it was fully charged via the AC Micro USB charger (i used an old blackberry micro usb ac adapter charger i had around)..

Once it was fully charged .. I let it sit for a while. I pushed in the reset button while I flipped the on/off switch. That caused my 350 to do a reset/reboot etc.. It has been working very well since then. I recall maybe that was the 2nd time it ever froze that hard on me before..

Good Luck

Thanks! I 've been charging it the whole day, so I'll just go and fiddle with the rest of it.

Make sure the computer you are using to charge from is not going to sleep. If it goes to sleep, the power is turned off on the USB ports the computer will discharge the reader.

I have not used my 350 for a while...

But when you said 'tried the reset button and the power switch'.... I think you have to hold the reset button down for 5 seconds then hit the power switch while still holding reset. Or something like that. I know it took me some fiddling with it.
