Adding Cover To Epub File.
Had PDF ebook with errors.
Opened in Adobe, saved as txt. Opened txt with MS Word, corrected errors. Saved as rtf Added rtf to Calibre. Converted to epub. Edited metadata, downloaded cover. Cover appeared in Calibre listing. Cover did not appear in FBReader. then Converted epub again in Calibre to epub. Cover appears in FBReader. Have to convert epub to epub to have cover in FBReader. Although this double conversion works, what am I doing wrong?  Thanks. |

Add your cover (and sort out your metadata) before you do your conversion from rtf to epub. Downloading metadata and a new cover does not put that cover inside the ePub.
Alternatively use the Modify ePub plugin to put the cover in after the event. |
