Having trouble downloading the new update
"This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor
to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

That is what pops up when I try to run the program.

What can I do about it pleas help

What OS are you using? Did you download the correct installer?

did you read the FAQ ( http://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq.html#id53 ) on why downloads fail?
