Neal Stephenson's Anathem £1.99 in UK
Just noticed Neal Stephenson's magnificent Anathem (can you tell I'm a fan?) is just £1.99 at the moment on Amazon UK. Seems to be the regular price in the US, however. Worth keeping an eye on it in case it changes, however.

Well, the original link was made using bitly, certainly (and I got the message about it being changed to a direct link). But does that make it 'affiliate'? Wouldn't it only be an affiliate link if it was making me money in some way?

The affiliate part is the "tag=xxxx" that appears once the bitly link was expanded.
using link obscurers is also more or less not allowed (at least, if the moderators notice, they tend to ask you to fix it or delete the links), since you can't tell where you'll end up upon clicking. |
