New reader, already downloaded 1000's of books

PRS-505 in the mail and I've already downloaded tons of books. Will be converting from PDF, LIT, TXT and RTF so I'm sure I'll be asking tons of n00b questions.

Kinda worried that I made a mistake not opting for the Kindle but I'm hoping they'll drop in price at some point before the wireless goes paid (which I think it will) and I'll porbably hop on board then.

ok, i am kinda new to this. i have been reading ebooks on my palm tx for a couple years and really like the convenience of a library in my purse. I have been reading about the kindle and the prs for awhile now. i thought both of those devices were proprietary as far as the ebooks are concerned. would i be able to convert my palm and mobi and library downloads to work on either device? just from what i have read and seen i am leaning toward a sony but have held off because of the investment in content for my palm. can somebody please enlighten me? thanks a million

You can read DRMed MOBI e-books (including library loan MOBI) on the Cybook and also on the larger-screen, but more expensive, iLiad.
