Well, I got mine for $160 new in box from Staples, but I imagine that some people would still be interested in this deal. They're still competitively priced for what they are, if that's what you need.

$160 is a good price! Much more reasonable than $299, which is what that deal is.

These large e-book readers are not for everyone but It's my favorite one!

At $299 w/leather cover, I think it's a pretty good deal. Older firmware, but it works fine.

Large e-book readers with unlimited 3G access may disappear in the near future (who knows?) so, for some, it might be a good time to pick one up. I'd pick up one for a spare but my current +1.5 year old DXG is still working good as new, so I don't see the need to do this.
