Kobo store

Just went to the store, and am pleased that the prices are now noted with "this price is set by the publisher" for books that can not have discounts applied.

What I don't get though, is why brick and mortar stores can sell the print copies of the books for 30% off. grrr

Physical books are still sold to retailers at wholesale prices. Ebooks however have a different model championed at least initially by Apple to 'break Amazon's monopoly hold' where the publisher sets the price at which their ebooks will be sold.. Retailers have no leeway to change prices. Blame Apple and those ebook publishers if you wish. :P

I also like the new search filter which pops up when search for anything.

Plus, the PIN Pinteest button is now visible on the individual book display pages. I've been told this can be used as a work around for a personal wish list.

Update: I see there is a thread on this very issue.
