The link was already included in the latest Web Channel Collection (v1.0.5). See here: http://www.turcic.com/cgi-bin/download.cgi...?file=links.txt

Best place is to ask here in the forum in the "wanted links" section

I moved this to the Broken Links section as it seems that Le Monde changed its mobile link.

They are back and the link works again.

Edit: Oups. That was short-lived. Link is dead again

The link has been taken down/removed because of reported abuse from spiders and non-AvantGo clients banging on it.

We've received an email from a user on one of our lists who contacted LeMonde asking for the URL, and was told it was relocated/removed because of repeated abuse of the link.

I'm sure a little more digging will find it, but this seems to be the trend lately, and it's only going to get worse, as more and more client-based solutions start hitting the sites directly, instead of a metered server-based solution like AvantGo.

I am not really sure how many people use client-based solutions a la iSilo to download mobile web pages. But I am fairly sure that the number is relatively small compared to the number of regular users hitting on the non-mobile main page (which uses a lot more bandwidth due to graphics etc).

It is sad to see LeMonde taking these actions, but I feel confident that most other providers don't see a need to follow LeMonde.

Well, at least I hope so...
