Kindle Collections
I've noticed that my Kindle magazine subscriptions are grouped into virtual "folders" or "collections" even though the actual files are not organized that way on the device. I don't subscribe to any newspapers but I assume they work the same way.
I'm wondering if there is something that could be done, perhaps via mobipocket metadata, that would allow this feature to be used to group eBooks. Any ideas? Bob |

If anyone could figure that out, it'll be very interesting. I'd love to group files together, whenever we start producing RSS feeds for the Kindle.

If this information is in the metadata it should be easy to find. One good candidate would be the extended header information. My mobi2mobi can be used to print out this information (see Mobiperl thread) and if I had some exemple files I can check this and modify mobi2mobi so you can edit this data if it is there in the header.
