Device: Kindle 4
Kindle 4: can browse but not send

Hi,

I have strange problem with my Kindle 4. Calibre detects and automatically connects to device. I can browse books stored on it using either calibre or file system access. Writing via file system also works fine. Problem is with sending books via calibre interface. When I browse my book library and hit "Send to device" button I got:

Code:
calibre, version 0.8.48
ERROR: No device: Cannot send: No device is connected
Here is my debugging info.

Code:
Version: 0.8.48

Solved.

I installed calibre in custom directory /opt. Didn't know that I have to start it by
Code:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/calibre/0.8.48/calibre/lib /opt/calibre/0.8.48/calibre/calibre
not

Code:
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/calibre/0.8.48/calibre/lib /opt/calibre/0.8.48/calibre/bin/calibre
Now everything works great
