PCLinuxOS and Kindle
Unfortunately, I don't remember which version of Calibre stopped recognizing my Kindle, but it was a while back. (Maybe 6 months ago...) I'm running PCLinuxOS and haven't worried about it, since I haven't been trying to send more than a handful of books at a time via emailing via Amazon. Now I have 500+ books to send to my Kindle, and I have no idea how to proceed. At least without Amazon charging me. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Krikket ![]() |

All I can say is that the K4 worked with Calibre 8.44 (my last time USB connection) and Ubuntu Natty (32 bit)

I wonder if this fix was what broke it for you?

That log shows that your system does not have support for uDisks, so the Calibre automatic detection does not work correctly. As the change note indicated you need to manually mount the Kindle For Calibre to be able to work with it.
