Error Communicating with Device on Mac, but not Windows

G'day,



I connected my Sony PRS-T1 to my Macbook yesterday, and got the following error:

calibre, version 0.8.46
ERROR: Error: Error communicating with device

database disk image is malformed

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 82, in run
File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/device.py", line 340, in _books
File "site-packages/calibre/devices/prst1/driver.py", line 181, in books
DatabaseError: database disk image is malformed

So I deleted the database files on the device and memory card, re-synced, and got the same error again.

Eventually, I moved to my Windows PC, and was able to connect and copy books across without any problems.

It seems there is a problem with the Mac version not being able to ready the database on the device properly.
