Limiting News Downloads To A Specific Library.
Can News sources be limited to a specific library or will they only be put into the library that is active at the time the news feeds are downloaded? If they can't be sent to a specific library, how would I go about requesting this feature in a future version of Calibre? I really don't want a science journal to end up in my "Fiction" library for example.

They cannot, and this feature is not going to be implemented. It introduces too many complications for too little gain.

The simplest solution is to use the "copy to library" function if it gets downloaded into the wrong library. I've had to do that once or twice, and it was a quick fix.
