Free (nook/Kindle) No Story to Tell by K.J. Steele [Canadian Literary Suspense]

No Story to Tell is the debut novel of K.J. Steele, whom one of the reviews mentions is a Canadian author, and seems to be one of those "person comes to terms with themselves by finally acknowledging and confronting their mysterious-to-the-reader buried past" sorts of litfic stories. This is free courtesy of small press The Fiction Studio, which was established by ex-Big-6 editor Lou Aronica (who used to edit sf award-winner Robert Silverberg's work, according to the introduction in the book of his which I'm reading).

Currently free @ B&N and Amazon (available to Canadians but not at the moment free to the UK, though that may change). Has a chance of showing up at Sony, but may be very short lived as it seems that TFS freebies are offered for fewer days than they used to be.

Description (this blurb actually kind of sucks; go have a look at the customer reviews for a better and more interesting-sounding description of the story)
Have you ever wondered if you can be born into the wrong life?

This is a question Victoria Lackey, a once promising dancer, tries hard not to ask herself as she wanders through her days, tending her secrets and burying her past.

It is a question that begins to whisper to her after a chance meeting with Elliot, a sensual artist from the city, who recognizes the dancer’s spirit within her.

A question that presses for an answer after softly seductive anonymous telephone calls encourage her forward into a life of her own.

A question that demands an answer when the woman she is explodes inside the woman she has become.

Buried dreams, anonymous telephone calls, and a heart full of secrets. NO STORY TO TELL is a story that demanded to be told.
