OPF files
Hello,
When i add some books in Calibre, hundreds of OPF files change !
i saw this problem when i synchronized in Dropbox.
How can i avoid that ?

(individual books) OPF files change when you make changes to things contained within to the master metadata. Rename/delete a Tag, change a Authors name (spelling), Series, Publisher...

Yesterday i added 40 Ebooks, when i synchronized, 250 OPF files had change ???

Were there possibly some Merged titles (some were the same)?

What you say, does not sound like it should change 210 other books metadata.
No Quality check?
No stepping across other books while editing Metadata (just doing a Next or Previous, touches the modified timestamp)?
