Aeroplan points from Kobo store

So you know how Air Miles gives you 1 mile per $20 spent on the Kobo site via airmilesshops.ca, and how it's near impossible to do because you can only purchase one book at a time?

Well, I was on the Aeroplan website yesterday and found out that if you buy from the Kobo store via their site, you can earn 5 Aeroplan miles per $1 spent. Their site is over at www.aeroplan.com/estore.

Darn, I wish I'd know that a while back. I also discovered that Skype payments can accumulate Aeroplan miles a bit late.

Thanks. That said I strongly suspect Aeroplan will be quite useless for me. They keep moving the miles required for tickets to Australia just a bit further out of my reach. And as I accumulated my miles in the 80s the hard way, by flying, it's taking a while to get the miles these days.
