Mobipocket Book naming....very wierd.

For some reason the Mobipockets books don't have their original title name. They have the FILE name showing.....not the book title.

Anyone got a fix for this?

Which Mobipocket reader are you using and are these purchased DRM laden book or books you've gotten elsewhere?

DeathtoToasters - Are you talking about the feature where MobiPocket files installed on the memory card only show the titles before you access them? Then once you access them and go back to the content lister all you see is the filename?

If this is your issue then Iliad Manifest Creator should fix that. I haven't tried it yet but it does work.

This is definitely a bug in the ContentLister, but it is confusing because there is more than one type of MobiPocket file and the ContentLister treats them differently.

Something that HarryT suggested is to rename the file to whatever you want. Which is a simple and practical work around.
