Advice on Conversion capabilities....
Ummm......

Any reports as to whether updating my existing K4PC will cause problems with my Calibre "conversion" abilities ?
I have the latest Calibre and....... "Tools 5.0" .....from Alf's workbench and all going fine.

I've managed to igfnore prompts in the past, but am I worrying needlessly - at present anyway.

Tools v5.0 work fine with Kindle for PC/Mac 1.9.1
I believe that calibre has just been or will very shortly be updated to handle the new KF8 files that you might obtain once you've updated to Kindle for PC/Mac 1.9.1

Curses... now I can't seem to find K4PC 1.9.1 anywhere to update - did I see it had been temporarily pulled, or did I imagine that bit........

The latest is now 1.9.2. But Amazon do seem to roll these updates out unevenly, presumably to stop their download servers being overloaded.

Ah, yes, I see.
I've just picked up elsewhere here it seems to be 1.9.2 (38420) now, so I'll Google it and see what pops up.
