Problems annotating on kobo touch?
When making annotations on the kobo touch does anyone find it difficult to get the last character of a paragraph?
I can never seem to get the blighter, I'm always undershooting or overshooting. Sometimes I just feel it would be better if I could just mark the start words and end words and have the system detect any punctuation characters that should be at the start and end and highlight them accordingly. |

Yup, definitely needs tweaking. Sometimes I'll try and rotate my finger to get that last character, but it's always a crapshoot.
It's also pretty tricky to annotate a passage that spans across two pages. I usually end up changing the font size temporarily or giving up. |

Another problem I have is when I try drag the highlighter down the highlighter actually moves down, so i have to move it backup again.
Hope that makes sense. Highlighting over multiple pages is just too difficult. They should let you change pages when your in highlighting mode. I really think a system like what they do on opera might be better. 1st press highlight word 2nd press highlight sentence 3rd press highlight paragraph I think I'll put this suggestion in with the firmware feature request thread; Hopefully mods won't get annoyed. |

I was having a lot of trouble getting that last character for an annotation as well, until I accidentally found a way around it by dragging the highlighter to the line below the one I'm highlighting. Then I can move my finger all the way to left to get rid of any highlighting I don't want while getting that last character on the line above.
Hope that helps - and makes sense! |
