Epub cover image does not display correctly
lets give this topic another kick :-)

i am trying to get the right size cover on my sony prs-t1

i have allready installed the resize cover plugin and tried several sizes but that doesnt make any difference

how can i make calibre use the right size of cover for my e-reader and where must i change the options?

i hope someone can help me out

How about giving us some more details of what you are experiencing.

when i choose a book on my e-reader the cover of the book is showing much bigger on my reader screen

when in standby modus i would prefer to see the whole cover and not blown up but for some reason i cant seem to get that working

I don't have a T-1 but I believe it will use the cover that is embedded in the epub. If you have Sony Reader selected as the Output profile under Page setup, then the cover should be the right size after the book is converted.

The resize cover plugin just resizes the cover seen in calibre not in the book.

i have selected sony but it is not showing the right size when starting a book or in sleep modus

It's my impression that the T-1 uses the cover from in your ebook. If it is showing a large cover then I think the cover in your book must be large. I'll let someone else explain in detail ways other then conversion of you book (even ePub to ePub would work) to reduce the internal cover size.

Select the books.

Right Click and select Convert Books then Bulk Convert.

Make sure the output is set to epub, and hit OK.
