Google Docs
The new google docs that allows offline work will be great for the PE, but I have not set up my PE for the Market. If anyone can post the apk it would be appreciated.

You may be able to do off-line editing with the pre-installed Documents to Go. Works nicely with Google Docs.

about the workaround
The articles that discuss the new Google docs say that the device will automatically upload the offline altered document as soon as a wifi connection is established. This makes it much nicer than the other offline solutions.

Ooooh! That does sound good! I'll see if I can get the .apk from my husband's Galaxy Tab (which I think he is going to sell). If I succeed I will post it here.

Edit: What if you don't want changes copied over? Just wondering . . .
