why does Amazon discriminate against Android users?

I've been a long time user of Kindle for Android (together with my kindle keyboard) but lately, Amazon really made clear the it's seeing their Android userbase as inferior to their iOS userbase...
They have been enabled to buy kindle fire stuff and in return got the Personal Documents feature for free...
I wonder why Amazon is not doing the same for Android when this is the platform that their latest successful device is based on...
I hate it when people take and not give back..
.Any comments on that?

Amazon has always been inconsistent in the speed that their various apps get new features. I'd expect the iThing app features to eventually make the move to Android as well, but don't know when.

If they're spending more of their development resources and introing new features faster on iOS it might be because the revenue stream from iOS users is greater? I have no idea, but knowing Amazon they have a good handle on how much the various apps are used and how much revenue they're potentially generating.

It would really be nice if they'd gain some consistency in features across all the apps and K4PC & K4Mac.
