Add books to Calibre by format

Can I get Calibre to add books by scanning a directory tree, but only add, say, epub and not mobi files?

So far as I can see, the add books button will add all files of any type Calibre can manage.

Use windows explorer (or whatever) to search for all epub files in a folder hierarchy, then drag and drop them onto calibre. If there are lots best to do it in a few batches.
