Calibre edited epub to FBreader question

I have another noob question.

I've edited the meta data within calibre then saved to disk. Now each Epub (which used to be only one file, an epub) is in it's own folder containing three files, an epub, a jpg (the cover) and an opf file. Now I like to use FBreader on my android phone but when I open a book all I get is the cover (in the bottom corner there is a page number showing page one of one).

Also, I just sent copy and pasted the files, I didn't use the send to device option within calibre.

Save to Disk Preference has options to send those extra files. Disable if you don't want them sent.
