Problem uploading to Amazon

My 2MB file rejected. Contains one image over 300kb, but these size images haven't caused rejection in the past. Something is up.

A 2MB file won't cause problems at Amazon. But perhaps they're now enforcing the image size limits?

Was the mobi created with kindlegen or calibre?

Kindlegen.

I've been told Kindlegen will resize images to Amazon's 127KB spec. After posting this, I resized images in ePub manually, put through Kindlgen and book was accepted by Amazon, so perhaps the comprssion feature is not working.

Have now installed Kindlegen2, so will test img compression with that too.
