On Device Indicator
Calibre has a column when the device is plugged in which lets you know which books are on the device. When I first add them to the library it works fine. The next time I connect the kindle it does not check the column for all the books on the device, some yes but not all. Why would that be? I can only think that since having downloaded additional metadata it may not now recognize the book as being the same. Anything to do about this.
Thanks, John |

Most likely you changed the author and/or title of the book(s).
So now it's a 'different' book, and no, there's not much you can do short of deleting the kindle copy and sending the calibre copy to the kindle. |
