Right click on the file (a file-type the K4PC supports) and choose Open with->Kindle for PC.
Mobi files should already be associated with K4PC... just double-click. Either approach should also add the book to K4PC's library. |

Or just copy the book into the "My Documents/My Kindle Contents" folder.
What ways had you tried, as a matter of interest? |

I think all the ways to accomplish this are a little un-intuitive for some users. Many, I think, are looking for a way to "open" a file or "add" a book through a menu or other method from within the app itself. Can't say as I blame them, really... it would end some confusion.
But then again, supporting non-Amazon ebooks and actually encouraging people to read non-Amazon ebooks (not to mention making it intuitive to do so) are two very different things. ![]() Last edited by DiapDealer; 01-13-2012 at 05:03 PM. |
