DRM problem
Hello,
I am new to this website and forum. I have purchased a few ebooks from Amazon, and would like to buy more, but the DRM restricts their use to Kindle only. I am loving calibre, but Is there any equally reliable program that will allow one to convert a DRM "restricted" ebook to another format so it can be read by a non-kindle reader? Likewise, if I see a Barnes & Noble ebook that I like, and it's not available in the format that I want to read it on, is there anyway to bypass the DRM on any ebook that I've purchased (or may want to purchase) from any vender, without obligating me to purchase multiple readers just so I can read those different ebooks? |

Discussion of DRM is prohibited by MobileRead forum policies. You might try googling for "Apprentice Alf" and see where that takes you.
