kobo touch now shows blank everything

all my books appear to be gone, including the ones i bought from the kobo store. the calibre ones are still showing up in the drive when i connect the device, but nothing is showing up anymore

i think i'll have to do a master reset.......anyone know why this happened though?

i'm getting this error message when connecting to calibre:

Your Kobo touch database is corrupted.

If you reset your Kobo to factory defaults, it will rebuild the database. All books purchased from Kobo are safe, you get them back when you sync. Remember to backup sideloaded books first.
