It looks like the Kindle is off to a good start. It has sold out and won't be back in stock until December 3.

Pity

They are aware of a gadged called eBook reader, they are aware of the right names such as Sony PRS 505 Reader, Bookeen Cybook V3 and the iRex Iliad, however, they would not sell them in the UK (except iLiad)

Kindle - Sold Out 3 times so far
As far as I can tell, Kindle has sold out 3 times:

1) the initial offer sold out in a few hours;

2) the available on Nov 29 sold out and;

3) the available on Dec 3 sold out and;

4) the current page says available on Dec 17
