Transferring books From SD to Aldiko

I downloaded Aldiko to my Vox and then took two pdf ebooks that I had bought from kobo and put them onto a SD card. I then put the sd card into the Vox and could not figure out how to get them to Aldiko. Can someone give me some instruction on how to do this. Thanks.

Go into storage and see if the external sd card shows and if not make sure it is pushed in all the way. I use both and works excellent

Just to add a bit to the above, open Aldiko and press the Home icon in the top left. Press Sdcard and then the up arrow on the top right. Then press extsd to access what's on the external card.

Thanks for you response. I now have another question. I have just saved my downloads to an SD card. On my laptop they show on the SD card but when I put it into my Vox and do as you said they do not show up on the exstd. Why is that. Am i loading them on the sd card incorrectly and if so how should I be doing it.
