kindle 4 margins
Hi, Thanks to the kind people on here I have managed to hack the reader.pref file to reduce the margin.
I have also managed to add the left justification option. This makes things just as I want them looking at other people's books. However, in my own test publications the margin comes back. I am making a word file, saving as filtered htm and building in mobipocket creator. The only time I don't get a margin is if I have a long line of text that goes over one full line - otherwise it puts in a margin. If I open the htm file in a browser, there are no margins. I have removed all margins as far as I can see in Word, but I'm no expert in html, so I'm not sure where I've gone wrong. If there is a blank word template for kindle 4 in word, that may help - so far I can only see expensive ones ! Thanks for any suggestions |
