Question Fitting book width to window size

Hi
Hopefully I'm just being slow, but I am finding some books when viewed in Caliber's book reader, do not adjust to the window width.

Can this be altered?

no they are not images.

I've not got them with me at present, but whilst some are html files, changing to pdf or other file type doesn't seem to alter this, wouldn't changing the file type remove the <pre> tag?
