Root Explorer doesn't remember preferences and file type associations
It started with the root package's version of Root Explorer not remembering its preferences anymore. I updated Root Explorer to its latest version, but the bug remains. Even worse, now all file type associations are gone. If I manually set them (the new version is capable of doing this), they aren't saved. How to fix?

This might be related to wrong file owner set for the files installed via minimal root package. You need to uninstall root explorer completely or even remove it from minimal root set and install it manually. For details, have a look at the notes on rooting in the wiki: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/PRST...Tweaks#Rooting
