Black Widow - Gotthelf ?
Been trying to find a copy of "The Black Spider" by Jeramias Gotthelf in ebook, without success - anyone have any good search engine sites I can try please ?
I use Inkmesh, but no luck there.
It is pub dom, to the best of my knowledge, mid - late C19th.

A quick Usenet search (http://www.yabsearch.nl for instance) for Gotthelf shows the German original ('Die Schwarze Spinne') as available in different formats.

But not the English translation.

The German original is (being published in 1842), but the English translation is not, being published in 1957.
