Blank pages in iPad
I've asked this question in the ePub forum, but got no answer so I'll try here.
The background to my question is that I often prepare ebooks for Circaidy Gregory Press from their doc files, to XHTML, to validated ePub files. The ebooks work well on my Sony. But on the iPad there is a blank screen after each chapter where I have forced a page break. This does not happen on the Sony, so I don't think it's bad formatting on my part. I have look at the commercial ebooks I have on the iPad, and some show this behaviour while some don't. Does anyone know why this occurs? And more importantly, how I can stop it happening? |
