Cutting up Patterson novels to reduce page turning...

Hi all, and happy holidays. I have searched hi and low and can't seem to find an answer as to how I go about changing the format on my ePub ebooks so that I can delete all the wasted space authors like Patterson use to justify us paying money for their books. It's gotten to be too much for me. What I want to do is delete all the blank half pages, blank whole pages, and basically consolidate the book so I do not have to turn the page constantly.

Any help is appreciated. Happy reading and I hope everyone got a new book for the holidays. I know I did. Although I got it myself.

Seriously, thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer. I use a PRS_950 if that's important.

That sounds like something that should be done in Calibre.
You'd be better off asking in the Calibre-section of the forum.

Actually, you are best asking in the ePub section or the Sigial section if you want to use Sigil to help with this.

What I do with a Patterson book is edit the CSS so the really low start of every chapter is no longer low. I want the chapters to start on a separate screen so I have to just deal wth the sometimes sort pages. But I never have blank pages.

Can you please list titles of Patterson's that you have? If I have any of them and I've sorted out the CSS, I can attach the CSS and you can see what I did. Any of the Women's Murder Club books?
