Unmerge/Combine

Hi
When I download a Daily article feed, like say Financial Sense, when uploaded to my Kindle they would appear in date order. In this way I could read the oldest first, if I had a few days worth loaded.
Now Calibre shows them combined on one line and when uploaded, I can only see one in my Kindle, which is the latest. Not until I delete it, can I see the one from the date before.
Is there a way I can unmerge them, so that I can read them from oldest to latest?
I keep my files on Calibre and Kindle in Date order.

Change the titles and resend them to the Kindle.

But that kind of defeats the purpose of making life easy. I used to just plug in my kindle at 6:30 am and my downloads (done a bit earlier) are simply uploaded. I unplug and go on my way. But I don't get time on some days to read all of what I have. And I don't really want to sit down and edit files.
I think before, the files came with a date, and thus would not packed together (ie they had a different title). Maybe this has changed?
