Golden Allmine discussion
Hi Everyone!
As suggested in the development thread, this new thread is for discussing issues relevant to the Golden Allmine system which might not apply to regular Ermine. Thanks everyone for testing and feedback! |

Please clarify -
(1) would you limit this thread to golden allmine or all allmine? (2) What do you suggest should be posted here RATHER than in the ongoing golden allmine test/development thread (and vice versa)? Last edited by stevesr0; 12-25-2011 at 04:07 AM. Reason: added second question to post. |

Streaming Video on PE with Golden Allmine Update?
Is it now possible to watch streaming videos with the golden allmine update? I have read all the threads on here about people only being able to watch the sites that use flash lite, and was wondering if that had improved since the golden allmine update. I was trying to watch a streaming webcast a couple of nights ago using the skyfire browser 3.2 and it told me to update. So then I updated to skyfire 4.1, but got that bothersome buffering window. Aside from the buffering window that remained in the middle of the screen the entire time, I was able both to view and hear the webcast. I was just wondering if anyone else has been able to view non-lite flash sites without that window.
Thanks so much for any and all feedback. -Laura |

This has been an issue for some time: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...hlight=skyfire One owner contacted the developers: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...hlight=skyfire Puffin Browser will play non-lite Flash on the eDGe although there is a tint on some web pages: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...ghlight=puffin |

I got a fresh (1.6) pocket eDGe for Christmas and installed the Golden Allmine as soon as I took it out of the box. (I already had the USB drive set up on Christmas eve just in case my wife got me the eDGe!
![]() The only thing I had to change was "ro.product.name=passion" to "ro.product.name=edgejr" in my build.prop to get the built in documents to go working. |
