Arggh! I was checking into this and they do not accept debit cards, (only PayPal and credit cards).

I can't see this getting much lower than this price.

Does your debit card have a Visa/MC logo? I use my MC Debit Card on their site all the time.

Is this the newest edition DX? I couldn't tell. Do you think this one would be able to "borrow" books from public libraries? That is a newer capability, and even at this great price it's useless to me otherwise.

Borrowing isn't tied to the version of the Kindle - it works on every device, from what I can see (possibly on every app, I haven't tested that).

You tell the library you want a Kindle edition, checkout, then get a link - click it and you go to Amazon and tell it which of your Kindles you want it on (you can send it via WiFi to the newest ones only or transfer via USB to any of the older ones).

They sold the brand new one for 259.- on Black Friday (I bagged one), based on that this is a reasonable price for a refurbished unit. Let us hope they will have a DX Touch, then I might sell mine cheaper.
