Problems using Scrivener formated mobi?
I wrote my first book last winter using Word. I converted to ePub using Sigil (it had 55 images and Sigil really worked for inserting images), and final conversion to .mobi using Calibre -and then uploaded to Amazon. "Been there done that."
I'm writing book #2 using Scrivener and was excited to see that I could export from Scrivener as a mobi. The book is about 1/3 done and all mobi exports look great on my Kindle. Has anyone had a problem with a mobi file created with Scrivener and uploaded to Amazon? Thanks, Tony Latham |

It finally dawned on me that Scrivener uses KindleGen to convert to a mobi... so I have to assume the created Kindle-book is fine.
I must throw out there that Scrivener is a great book writing tool. TL |

I'm interested in Scrivner as well. But it doesn't appear to permit inline images in the body of the document. My work is also heavily illustrated. Am I wrong about images in the draft section of Scrivner?

I'm using Scrivener for Mac version, I think the Windows version is in Beta (dunno for sure). I just slid two jpegs into my current manuscript in Scrivener -that I know were properly sized (from my published Kindle book)... compiled the draft (in Scrivener) as a mobi and sent it to my Kindle via it's Kindle email address. The images are fine on the Kindle (and no problems with the active TOC). As I think I already mentioned, it's a great writing tool. ![]() TL |

Got it!
So it's drag n drop! I was trying to import file, and it wouldn't let me select an image. Thanks. |
