Hm. I uninstalled iBooks months ago because I never used it. But I am a huge Beatles fan. Is it worth reinstalling iBooks for?

I'd say it's at least worth picking up for a price of "free". I don't have an iDevice so I couldn't tell you exactly what's inside, but it's a honking huge 300 mb+ download, so they must have put something nifty inside.

I read it last night, and what a blast from the past! There are a few short videos, and you can choose to have the book read to you. I thought it was a lot of fun -- definitely groovy!

I have an iPhone but it's impossible to read this book on such a small screen. I tried loading it onto my Sony but the DRM won't allow it. I guess Apple has restricted this book to only their devices.

Yes and nearly all their books are that way. They won't even let me load any of them on my iPhone as it's an original and, although identical to the iPod Touch they did support, they decided they wanted to force an upgrade to get iBooks. I moved to android, instead.
