Noob question on ePub..
When idpf updates ePub, what about older .epub files? Can they be updated to the latest revision, to include the improvements?

There is no need. The newer version contains the complete v2 specifications. The things that were added (the major part at least) are things you don't want in a book. Things like audio and video.
The other way round is more important. There are hardly any readers (I believe only 1) that supposedly supports v3. So, older readers should still be able to read the newer books. |
