The 'Add' Dialog box spanning the whole screen?
Can anyone tell me how to stop or adjust the size of the "adding" dialog box as it currently keeps spanning the full width of my screen. Is this a bug or is it my install?

Not a bug. Not a problem with your install. If I recall correctly the diaglog box expands to the width of any title that calibre adds. If you add 100 books and one book has a long title then the diaglog box will expand to the length required for that title.

Is there a way to request this be a fixed size box or only to a certain percentage max of the desktop?

I run triple heads (not all the same resolution to make things awkward) : Calibre treats all 3 of them as the desktop

You can always request this fix, but honestly, since functionally it makes absolutely no difference, unless it is a quick fix it will fall to the bottom of the list.

You could always have a "more details" button that people could click if someone is interested in whatever this dialog box is saying other than 'adding'..
