If you don't already have Surely you're joking, Mr. Feynman!, pick it up now. It's thoroughly awesome and worth the non-discount price, and Feynman (1962 Nobel for physics) tells some truly hilarious real-life anecdotes.

Second place pick: the Richard Lederer Anguished English book. Lederer's collections of humorous real-life language usage gaffes are generally pretty funny (but tend to get repetitive after a while).

ETA: The David Crystal and Jan Harold Brunvald books on English and urban legends will also be well done (I've read other works by them), but more of a "this is a kind of interesting cultural phenomenon" thing as their writing is not really supposed to be humorous.

That's what I was going to suggest as well! I haven't read it myself because I haven't been able to find it as ebook at any of my libraries. It's on my wish list, and for $1 I would grab it!
